M. Glenn Reed Obituary
OCTOBER 23, 1930 - JANUARY 6, 2019
Glenn Reed, our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, left this earth on Sunday, January 6th, surrounded by his family at home. He was born in San Antonio, where he met his precious Vida. They married in 1951, at Millington Naval Air Base. He served in the Navy aboard an aircraft carrier during Korea. During his career, he spent a number of years at Lone Star Brewery, then Glenn Advertising, the Brewery's ad agency. He later opened ReedHamJackson with two partners. He gave us a wonderful life, much of it outdoors, frequently in Port Aransas. His great respect for nature was passed on to us all. Glenn's integrity, wit and compassion will live on. We will love and miss him always.
Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Vida; sister, Jo Anne Smothers; parents, Myron and Gertrude Reed.

Survivors are his children, Angela Reed Moore, Stephanie Reed, Joel Reed (Lori), Stacey O'Neill and Brett McCormick (Andrew); 11 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, January 18th at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 223 East Summit Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the ,
San Antonio-
South Texas Chapter.
