Margaret C. Moran

1932 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
September 28, 1932 - March 7, 2018
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31:29-31
After a three year battle with brain cancer, our loving and beautiful mother Margaret, at the age of 85, is now resting in peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Margaret was born on September 28, 1932 in Robstown, TX to Augustine and Maria Albarran. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Raul Colunga, and the father of her children Ernest D. Moran.

Margaret was a 1950 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School. During her years at Lanier she was a blue jacket (Go Voks!) and a violinist in the Lanier orchestra. She retired from Kelly Air Force Base after 32 years of service. Mom enjoyed gardening and was always complimented on her beautiful flowers by her neighbors. She also enjoyed reading books written by her favorite authors James Patterson and Danielle Steele and watching her all time favorite TV show Walker Texas Ranger. However, her greatest love of all in this world, was for her children whom she lovingly raised.

She is survived by her children Katherine A. Oliver (Richard), Michael A. Moran (Elizabeth), Belinda J. Aguirre (Andres), Laura J. Rosas, John E. Moran and Veronica D.Garcia (Xavier); siblings Esther Ramirez, Carlos Albarran, Carmen Gutierrez, Albert Albarran and Armando Albarran; grandchildren Jennifer, Rodolfo, Candella, Tanya, Michelle, Jason, Ricardo Jr., Robert, Erica, James Richard (J.R.), Joshua and Timothy; 14 great grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mom, it goes without saying that we will miss you and your beautiful smile so very much. So now, it's not goodbye but until we see each other again in God's time. Love you mom. -The Kids
