Nicholas Rossi was called to his heavenly home on July 6, 2018. His lifelong career in music began just before WWII. Having performed with the National Air Force, Air Force Academy, and NORAD bands, Nick retired from the U.S.A.F. as Master Sergeant in 1962. In retirement, he continued playing trombone with Roaring Twenties Dance Band and in church worship services. His favorite performances were of playing beautiful, old, favorite tunes to appreciative audiences until age 84.

A visitation will be held on July 13th at 1:30 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in San Antonio, followed by a celebration of Christ in his life at 2:00. Internment will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Pavilion 2 at 11:15 July 17th.
