Norman "T For Texas" Ploch Obituary
September 14, 1942 - January 7, 2018
On the Sunday morning of January 7, 2018, Norman passed away while holding his daughters hand in Boerne, TX. He left us to be with his mom and dad, Herman and Annie Ploch. His fishing buddies, Steve and Robert were waiting for him with a cold Lone Star.

Norman was born in San Antonio, TX on September 14, 1942 and was a US Air Force veteran. He was a Rancher in Poteet, TX where his son, Mike helped him raise limousine cattle. In his earlier years, he was a pigeon flyer and won the highest award, "The AU National Award" several times with his top bird "405". He loved dragracing his '57 Chevy hardtop two door at Alamo Dragway. He was the most trusted mechanic on the Southside, "Norman's Garage" on Hackberry in the alley. You couldn't miss seeing his huge garden when you drove down Hackberry. He loved deer hunting, fishing and making his own deer sausage. He loved being a grandpa, watching his favorite show Gunsmoke, and waiting for his sister, Tootsie to ring him at 7:00 every day.

Surviving relatives include: his best friend and mother to his children, Betty Ploch; their children, Norman Ploch Jr., Lynette Parker, Mike Ploch and his wife, Jeanne Champion Ploch; sister, Linda Lopez and her husband, Dan Lopez; grandchildren, Preston, Hannah, Michael, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Chase, Conrad; and nephews, Danny and Bobby.
