William "Bill" Levi Burns, age 82 (born June 10, 1927 in Georgia) of San Antonio passed away October 20, 2009. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Burns Fabrizzio of LaVernia, Becky Lowery & husband Clifton of Schertz, Barbara Tabor & husband Scott of Schertz, Belinda Stewart & husband John of Lake Hills, Beverly Pawlik of Schertz; son, Brad Burns & wife Ann of LaVernia; grandchildren, Barbara Strey & husband Kurt, Anthony William Fabrizzio, Cory Lowery, Jessica Mann & husband Gabriel, Jacob Lowery, Chance Lowery, Heather Fey, Courtney Fey-Ellis & husband John, Kimberly Gulley & husband Todd, Brad Webber, Jamie Burns, Cody Levi Burns and 8 great grandchildren. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and later enlisted in the US Air Force. He was a Mason, Shriner and member of the Optimist Clubs of San Antonio. He was owner of Marvin's Drive-In located in San Antonio. He ran the S.E. Free Press Newspaper and later worked for the D.A.'s office of Bexar County running the Hot Check Division. He was a wonderful father and devoted husband and will be greatly missed by all. Now he and Mama are together again.
