Glenda Saucedo Obituary
Glenda Salazar Saucedo, Abstract Artist, born Sept. 21, 1958, died April 9, 2011. Glenda was an active member of several San Antonio art organizations and a very popular local artist. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tony Saucedo, Two sons, Anthony and Jake Saucedo, a granddaughter, Kaylee Saucedo, her parents Joe and Janie Salazar, and her siblings, Joe Ray Salazar, Lisa Crawford (Craig), Jesse Salazar (Kathy) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her family and friends will always remember her kindness and dignity.

I had the pleasure of meeting Glenda at RCC and although I did not work directly with her during that time, she always, always lit up a room with her smile, her uplifting spirit was felt during her presence and was a very well respect individual. My son, Andrew Hunter, just told me of Glenda's passing. Andy and Jacob were good friends and classmates when they were younger. We lived just down the street so the boys often did sleepovers. Glenda and I chatted during those times and I was always struck by her sincerety, her kindness, and her devotion to her family. Our deepest sympathies to all of you, especially to Jacob whom we will always hold dear in our hearts.

It was with a great sense of loss when we heard of Glenda's death. We wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy, and our hearts are truly saddened.

Saucedo Family, Glenda was by far the sweetest person I have ever met. We worked together for many years and she was a blessing to me. She was always giving of her time to anyone that needed it. Saucedo&Salazar Families,There comes a time in everyones life when a special person crosses your path.It is with profond love and now sadness, I have to say Glenda was that person for me. I consider myself fortunate to have been her assistant for many years,and no one could asked for a better Boss. Glenda had a way of lifting people spirits and making everyone feel important. I will never forget the dedication and enthusiasm she had for the success of the company,always expecting the best from employees.Although she was a serious business person, she also liked to have fun.For example the way she would avidly encourage employee participation on halloween and the San Antonio Spurs run for the championship.I recall a couple of times the local media was invited to come and witness the company spirit.Glenda was more than a Boss she was a true friend and a lovely, caring person. As I commented my fond memories to my husband ,he responded,I know you are your are sad right now,but you also have to remember her beautiful smile, and I know she's smiling at all of us from heaven.
