November 2, 1915 - January 17, 2015
Chief Master Sgt. (Retired), Lloyd Hillary Hill, born in Boonesville, MS to Wiley James and Lillie Mae Hill, went to heaven January 17, 2015. Lloyd was a native of Marianna, AR. He met his wife to be at a house dance on her 15th Birthday. They dated one year, married on August 28th 1933. He served in the U.S. Navy, earning Chief Petty Officer, was in the Army Air Corp 2 yrs. and retired after 18 yrs. as Chief Master Sgt. in the Air Force and 20 years Civil Service. During World War II he was stationed on an oiler ship in the Pacific under fire on numerous occasions from Japanese planes. He later served on the USS Mink in the Philippine Islands. He also served for a short time on the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), now docked at Boston MA. He graduated Haynes High at Haynes, AR. He attended Coyne Electronic School in 1940 in Chicago, IL. His achievements were from the Eighth Air Force NCO Academy in 1955. His Awards include:

Lloyd shared a Birthday with frontiersman, Daniel Boon, Marie Antoinette, Queen of France and William Harden, 29th President. Lloyd was ready to meet his Lord. He is survived by his wife of 81 years Elsie Jane, Son James Lloyd Hill and wife Janie, daughters, Betty Jane Spangler, Barbara Ann Huber, 6 grandchildren, Debra Rhena Hill Pratt-Wilkinson and husband CMSgt. (Ret) Kent Wilkinson, Col. (Ret) Wiley Lloyd Hill and wife Ann, James Leland Hill and wife Mary Kay, Mark Ewing Hill and wife Melisa, Eric Jay Spangler and wife Sasha, Michelle Christine Hensken & CMSgt (Ret) John. 9 great grandchildren, James Adam Pratt, Landon Kiel Pratt, Stefan John Hensken, Grant James Hill, Zachary James Hill, Mason Powell Hill, Santiago Enrique Spangler, Trevor Lloyd Hill, Diego Alejandro Spangler, 2 great great grandsons, Colt Landon Pratt and Ryder James Pratt.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Graveside Service at 10:15 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
