Louis Ruiz Obituary
Louis Richard Ruiz went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2015. He proudly served in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger during Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He worked at the VA for over 17 years. Louis was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Ann's Catholic Church and was an Acts Member at St. Paul's Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Burbank High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ansencion and Celia Ruiz; sister, Lucy Delgado; brothers, Roland Ruiz and Raul Ruiz. Louis was survived by his wife, Gloria Silva Ruiz; sons, Luis Ruiz(Sandra), Steven Ruiz(Letty), Juan Ruiz(Cindy), David Ruiz(Jackie), Javier Ruiz(Ariel); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brianna, Steven, David, Joshua, Genesis, Danielle, Juan, Victoria, Faith, Matthew, John, James, Noah and Lauren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Celia Aragon(Dan); brother, David(Cynthia); brother-in-law, Richard Silva(Juanita) and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
