Obituary Condolences

LABITORIA, JR., ALBERT Nov. 19, 1924 to Dec. 03, 2012 Our dad, "AI-DFOX", passed peacefully in the arms of his children. Dad was a gentle, loving soul, who loved his family and the special gifts that a lifetime of commitment to marriage and children provided. He was always there for you...he made you feel special. And, what a Padre fan! We will miss him. Dad was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Paula and daughter Deborah Zeledon. He is survived by his children, daughters Pam Silva (Jamie) and Dina Engstrom (Brad), son Kim Zeledon (LaVonne), seven grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, sister Delores Labitoria, nieces and nephews. Dad entered the Navy as a 17 year old and was a veteran of World War II, the Korean, and Vietnam wars. He served in the aviation corps and retired after a 26 year career. His civilian career included supervisory positions at both Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) and US AIR. Dad loved music and learned to play many instruments. And, what a singer and whistler! We will miss his stints at the piano. Dad, tell mom hello! We will see you both again, next time at God's house. We love you both. Military Services to be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on Friday, 15 February, at 2:30 p.m. A celebration of his life immediately following at American Legion Lodge 731 (Padre Gold), 7545 Linda Vista Rd., San Diego, 92111.
