MISKOVIC, EMIKO MURATA Dec. 10,1934 to Jan.. 20, 2011 Emiko passed away on January 20, 2011. Born to Tsukumo and Eiko Murata on December 10, 1934 in Formosa, Japan (presently Taiwan), she came to the US shortly after her first son was born. Married to Gerald Akana from 1959 to 1974, she had six children, William, Susan, Eilynn, Roy, Anna and Kathryn. She then married James Miskovic in 1977 and moved to Chicago where she lived until his death in 1999. Soon after she moved back to San Diego to be near her children. Emiko had a spark and spunk all her own. Dancing to the beat of her own drum, her unique personality kept everyone laughing. She was a beloved sister to brothers Shinichi and Shuichi, sister Fumiko, grandmother to 14 and great-grandmother of two. We love you Mom and will miss you dearly.
