Janet Campion Nagle September 27, 2017 Carlsbad Janet Campion Nagle, 56, died on September 27, 2017 after surviving breast cancer for six years. She inspired her family and friends by living her motto: "Choose Joy, Live with Gratitude". She was the beloved wife of Jeff Nagle for 26 years and the devoted mother of Patrick and Shea Nagle. In addition to her husband and sons, Janet is survived by her mother Barbara (Sunter) Campion and sister Cathy Fowler of Massachusetts, sister Margaret Ianniello of Connecticut, brothers-in-law Jim Nagle of Poway and Joe Nagle of Ohio, sisters-in-law Jane Hargrove of San Diego and Jill Ganey of Carlsbad and numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends. Her father, James Campion predeceased her as well as brothers-in-law Johnny and Jerry Nagle. Janet was born and raised in Connecticut and spent her summers on Cape Cod. She graduated from Boston University in 1982 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She cherished the 30 plus years taking care of her patients. She was employed by Scripps Home Health for the last 20 years. Janet was a long standing member of OTAC and served as an officer of the San Diego Chapter.A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlsbad on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will also be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
