Joseph A. Bingo' Delgado May 21, 1936 - November 4, 2017 Chula Vista Joseph Bingo' Delgado, a native of San Diego, passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughters on November 4, 2017. Bingo was born on May 21,1936, the eldest of 4 sons born to Jose and Maura Delgado. In June, 1955, Bingo married his lifelong love, Mary Lou Arciga. At 18, Bingo began working on numerous iconic landmarks in San Diego as a Pile Driver in Local 2375. Some of these landmarks include the first high-rise' building in San Diego, the Coronado Bridge, the Coronado Cays, the bridges on 805, Seaport Village, the Dolphin Tanks at SeaWorld, the original San Diego Stadium, the San Onofre Power Plant and the B' Street Pier. Bingo and Mary Lou had 5 children, Cecilia (Tony), Gilbert Joseph (deceased), Teresa (Phil), Anna (David) and Marisa (Sam). They had 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and were married for 58 years. Bingo was known for living life his way, and he chose the way he wanted to leave this Earth. Right after his childhood friend played beautiful music for him, he danced his way right into Mary Lou's waiting arms. Viewing will be at Glen Abbey Mortuary in Bonita on 11/12/17 from 5pm - 9pm. Mass will be at St. Rose of Lima Church on 11/13/17 at 11am; interment immediately following. Celebration of Life will be held at CV Elks RV Park from 2pm - 5pm.
