Troulman, Stephanie Foster MARINA DEL REY / SAN DIEGO Stephanie Foster Troulman, 76, long-time resident of Marina del Rey, died peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2015 of heart complications. Stephanie lived all her life in the Los Angeles area. Her father, Preston Foster, was a leading man in motion pictures in the 40s and 50s, appearing in over 100 films in addition to the long-running TV series, Waterfront. Stephanie played opposite her father as a child in the film Gentleman After Dark and other pictures. A talented singer, she also toured in musical reviews across the country with her father and stepmother, Sheila Foster, during the 1950s. Stephanie married Jay Troulman, a very successful CPA in the Los Angeles area in 1969 and became an active partner in their firm. Her husband died in 1997. Later, Stephanie became Vice-President/Chief Financial Officer at the firm of Mullen TBG until she retired. Stephanie leaves behind a large circle of friends and cousins. She was a loyal, generous, cheerful and positive woman to many and was especially devoted to her four-legged friends. Travel, opera, Cole Porter and other show tunes were part of her life-long interests. She especially loved cruising the world and learning about different cultures and meeting new people. She never met a stranger. She was a very caring woman who donated time, talent and treasures. A private celebration of life and scattering of ashes at sea are planned for later in the summer. Her favorite charities included: The Actors Fund, Forte Animal Rescue, The Salvation Army and USO San Diego. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the above organizations in her name.
