William Hugh Talbott Obituary
William Hugh Talbott September 13, 1931 - February 10, 2019 Rancho Santa Fe, CA Beloved husband to the late Bonnie Talbott. Preceded in death by his father, James H. Talbott and his mother, Lily B. Talbott and his son Gerry Grant. He is survived by his brother Dennis Talbott, sister-in-law Sandy Talbott and his sons Taylor Grant and Larry Grant. Uncle to Matthew Talbott and Stephanie Tompkins. Grandfather to Travis Grant, Crosby Grant, Carter Grant, Justin Grant, Avery Grant, and Morgan Grant. Great-grandfather to Tanner Grant and Hailey Grant. Great-uncle to Spencer Tompkins, Parker Tompkins and Jackson Talbott. A native of San Francisco, Bill graduated from Lowell High School and received his B.S degree from the University of San Francisco, majoring in business. He served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. He received his Master's degree in 1957 from the American Institute of Foreign Trade. He joined Coronet Industries, Inc., and rose to Vice President of Marketing. He closed his last real estate deal in 2017. Bill set fire to the hoop on the court and in life. He was a gifted athlete and loved basketball, volleyball, golf, and skiing. He traveled the world. He was very intelligent and had a very giving personality. A true patriot, he lit up the room and made you smile. He passed peacefully in his home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA with family present. On this Valentine's Day, Bill and Bonnie are together again. Memorial services will be held at The Village Community Presbyterian Church at 3:00PM on Friday, February 22nd, at 6225 Paseo Delicias, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067. Reception to follow.
