Uncle Bill was one cool dude. We used to play blow darts, very competitive game. I remember him laughing and he was always in a good mood. He and Aunt Uvie was my wife's family but they took me right in. I have great memories of him. We all miss you terribly.

My brother and I were many years apart in age, but I do have my happy memories of him. He took me on my first motorcycle ride, I think before I entered kindergarten--I remember hanging on to the gas cap for dear life. I remember him driving me round and round to the top of Mt. Helix in his white VW bug (no, not the scary-loud red one). He used to build "forts" out of pillows, using his drumsticks for the support structure, for me to crawl around in when we visited his house. And I won't say much about the cigarette I demanded he let me take a puff from when I was about four years old--let's just say it put me off smoking for good.
Bill, you will be missed by your family, friends, and many cats, both present and future. If there's a place we go after this, I hope you're there, surrounded by cats and kittens to your heart's content. And also some beer, and grilled cheese sandwiches with pickles inside.

My sweet little nephew "Billy". The memories of growing up with you will always be special to me as I was only six when you were born. I remember playing cars, marbles, reading the little golden books with you. Here is a picture of us ready to go to Vacation Bible School. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get you to call me "Aunt Katy". I always looked forward to seeing you when you made deliveries to The Charter School where I worked. I was so proud of you. I have a hard time thinking of you as Bill, in my heart you are still my sweet nephew "Billy". I know you are young and healthy and at peace now, and I am sure that Grandma Deany, Grandpa Dick, your dad, and all those who loved you and went before you are rejoicing to have you with them. We will keep your precious Uvie, Teva, and your mother and sisters in our prayers. Until we meet again, MIZPAH.

I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was one funny guy. I will always remember those years our young families spent together. Lots of music, laughter, and munchies...
My deepest condolences to Uvie and her children.

Bill was my uncle and I will miss him greatly. I always enjoyed seeing him at family events and having someone to have a beer with. I will never forget many years ago when he brought over one of his guitars and we played in my Grandmothers garage on a holiday. I wish there could have been more times to jam, talk cars, and dislike the cowboys. See you on the flip side Uncle Bill, miss you lots.
Love you always Scott

This is a very sad day. Bill was my best friend in school. We had a great friendship. After over about 35 years I had a visit with Bill, my last. I learned of his passing after the service, I am very sad I could not attend. My best to all the family, Bill was a very special person in my life. Conrad Davis Crawford '65

To my Dad,
You were a great father. I'm gonna miss you more than words can say. I think of funny little things you used to say and I laugh to myself and think....that's where I got my sense of humor from! I am going to start a monthly ritual of getting a pink donut w/ sprinkles just because it reminds me of how you always took me to the donut shop. You always let me get a "goody" at the store too. Your daughter loved sweets and you always wanted to make her happy.
Rich and I will take care of Mom and the cats, so you don't have to worry. Tiger is already "howling" for you~
Luv you,
Teva

I am Andy Johnson's sister and remember Bill fondly. May every memory be a blessing. Andy misses him so much. Heartfelt sympathy - but just know he is young and handsome and dancing with all who have gone before.

I am the niece,of Uncle Bill. This was a shock to us. As we knew his health wasn't good. He was truely a kind and warm man, who had a wonderful sence of humor. I alway dug him and he wasn't only my Uncle but a wonderful friend. My Aunt and him were perfect together. They had a way with eachother, that most wished they only had. Cool is the word! I will miss him dearly in my heart and love goes out to my Aunt and Tiva. I loved him so

I'll always miss you, Bill. The world just doesn't seem right without you in it. But I have to trust that you are in a better place now and I know you're finally free of the pain you were suffering. Rest in peace, dear brother. Love, your sister Peggy
