Alma Panter - 12/25/1911 - 7/9/2018. This picture was taken on Alma's 106 birthday last Christmas. This week she had a peaceful entry into what God has next for her. Her long and fruitful life was a blessing to both family and friends. God blessed her with a desire for prayer and many can attest to God's protection and blessings as a result of those prayers. She will be missed. But more importantly, we enjoyed her positive and productive life. Her loving husband, Al Panter, preceded her in death at the age of 89 in 1995. Her two sons: Ron Panter in Minnesota and Dwight Panter of Atascadero enjoyed visiting her regularly throughout the years. She also leaves five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren Alma was a project person, always keeping busy. Independent and driving into her mid 90's, she was most satisfied with her her church work at Atascadero First Assembly of God, as well as several prayer/Bible study groups for women. Her friend Carol, from Lake Elsinore, CA called daily and church friends continued to visit her at Country Care in Atascadero and Bella Vista in San Luis Obispo. She also enjoyed reading her personal copy of the Tribune newspaper each morning. Alma was born on Christmas day in 1911. Friends and family traveled to Atascadero in January 2012 to honor her hundredth birthday. That was a large and joyous celebration as we all enjoyed reminiscing and hearing her tell stories from her youth. She was honored in life and now her two sons and their wives respectfully attended to her graveyard resting place.
