Right now Bill's narcissus in my front yard are blinking into bloom, adding their oranges and yellows to the citrus fruits on the trees. Hope there are fruit and flowers wherever you are, Bill.

My narcissus in my front yard in southern CA are blooming - I got them from Bill and brought them down here from Santa Cruz when I moved back here to watch over my parents in 2010. Every year I enjoy the sweet little frills and ruffles and think of the Bulb Baron.

The narcissus I brought down here to southern CA from you are blooming now - the scent fills the room. I hope your heaven is filled with flowers.

Bill, I crossed paths in life with in the Air Force in Okinawa. He was my best friend and brother. I miss him. We always had each others back. Remember he had a picture of his girlfriend (soon to be wife) that we talked about for hours. No-one knows what its like to be away from family, but we shared our dreams and memories together, which Bill and I did. Never forget him, my brother, a great friend and Dad husband rest in peace, will join you someday

Oh, how sad. I sold many of Bill's bulbs as fundraisers for the Valley Womens Club - they are planted and probably blooming now all over the San Lorenzo Valley. I even have his Soleil d'Or right now in fragrant blossom in southern California where I am living. Thank you, Bill, thanks a bunch.

Mr. Welch's beautiful and prolific daffodils are now blooming (as they have for years) in my garden. A wonderful remembrance of his life.
