She was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in Quincy, CA until the age of 11, when she entered the foster care system. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Byron and Gilbert Boyden; sister, Kathy Clark; nephews, John Miller, David Miller and Tommy Clark; and parents, Gilbert J. Boyden and Winnifred (Stowell) Nerat. Special thanks to Hospice of Santa Cruz for their compassionate care.
