Nancy Olszewski passed peacefully after winning the battle with four types of cancer and outliving life expectancy by many years for a blood disorder. She passed away in Santa Cruz County where she lived with daughter, Holly Heffner. She is survived by the following family members:
•Brothers: Michael, Barry and Bernard Scahill
•Children: Dinah Gene Babb Guy, Holly Lynn Babb Heffner, Mary Frances Babb Braniecki and husband Robert, John Bradford Babb (predeceased) and Deborah Olszewski Frank
•Grandchildren: Amy Huddleston, Mary Heffner Nickerson, Matthew Heffner, Melanie Scudder, Christopher Braniecki, Jake Stout, Lisa Braniecki, Holly Frank and Hailey Frank
•Great Grandchildren: William Akers, Hailey Heffner, Samuel Heffner, Tiziano Hererra. Tate Nickerson, Paige Nickerson, Clara Heffner, Lillianna Huddleston, Tristan Braniecki, Dana Brillhart, Owen Braniecki, Griffin Braniecki, Grace Brillhart
•And Nearly 300 other surviving relatives
Nancy was born in Sacketts Harbor, New York, second child of seven to Burton Joseph Scahill and Irene Major Scahill. She started early as a model, became mother of 5, and eventually developed a passion for Astrology and ESP. She became so successful in these fields she started a New Age retail outlet that continues today with daughter, Dinah Guy. When she retired, she moved to California almost 20 years ago and developed another hobby, Genealogy. Her expertise in this field is well known to family, friends and the Genealogy community. She delivered binders of proof to every family tree she researched, including at least one back to 1410.

Nancy was an amazing woman with an extraordinary sense of humor, unparalleled beauty, an extremely quick wit and a zest for life that touched not only family but everyone who came into contact with her. She will live forever in our hearts.
