Resident of La Selva Beach
Services will be on Saturday in Santa Cruz, for Pamela Moran who passed away on March 25, 2014 in La Selva Beach. Born in Santa Cruz, she was 57 years old. She loved the beach, the ocean, and the California sunshine. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family and friends. As an accomplished traveler, her adventures took her to cruises in the Caribbean, and Europe as well as deep sea fishing trips to Alaska.
She will be remembered for having a bright and cheery personality with a smile and laugh that were contagious. Pamela took great pleasure in meeting her closest girlfriends for lunch, and always looked forward to baseball and football season so that she could cheer on her beloved Giants and 49ers.
Pamela graduated from Soquel High School in 1974, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management. Pamela first worked as a Certified Medical Coder at Dominican Hospital, and later worked independently; with a career in medical records, spanning over 40 years. She was a proud grandmother, and loved to spoil her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She was loved by many and will fondly be remembered as a truly special women; positively one of kind.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Timothy Moran, her mother, Mary Searl, her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Danelle Stinson; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bryce Barnhart; her brother, Michael Searl, and stepfather, Steven Barlow. Pamela also leaves her three beloved grandsons: Miles, Sam, and Jake and her most precious granddaughter, Morgan. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence "Jack" Searl in 1989, and her mother in-law, Ellie Moran in 2011.
