Arthur Hayden passed away December 21,2020 at his home in Fernley Nevada at the age of 93. He was born January 20,1927 in Englishtown New Jersey. As a child moved to Watsonville Ca. Where he spent his life . He preceded in death by his wife Doris Hayden his mother and father May Bell and George R Hayden. His brothers Henry S Hayden and Albert J Hayden two sisters Ruth Morris and Edith Culp . He is survived by his children ; Henry ( Hank ) Hayden and wife Jennifer J Hayden, La Selva Beach Ca. Daughter Dana Hayden Levan and husband Charles E Lavan of Fernley Nevada. Step daughters Sandra Duff of Washoe Valley and Shelle Alsip and husband Jim Alsip of Fernley Nevada. Arthur known as Art by family and friends served in the Merchant Marines during World War ll and Air Force during the Korean War. Art was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to take the family camping and boating. He enjoyed painting, flying his drones, gold panning and maintaining his independence by riding his scooter around town. He was very tech savvy and stayed up to date with all the happenings on face book. Art was laid to rest at Veterans Cemetery in Fernley Nevada.

Art was so kind !! I always was amazed about how independent he was at his age of 93. He was always on Facebook with his new adventures. Showing us his new painting showing us what he was flying over! He will be missed by everyone Especially by his Grandkids.., RIP Art
