60 years old, beloved son, special nephew, and friend passed away in his sleep on Saturday November 7, 2020 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Pat was a graduate of NMMI, he was an outstanding artist, fine wood worker, metal machinist, leather worker, and caregiver. Loving condolences to Katharine, Tony and Lu. The community of Santa Fe has lost a passionate advocate who gave from his heart every day to its most needy, helping those who struggle with addiction and those facing food insecurity. He was adored by his mother and took loving care of her for many years; no one could have been more proud of their son than she. Ever so humble in his life’s work, Patrick’s artistic creations have served the most powerful. Each NM Governor since Bruce King has sat at the wooden desk carved by Patrick. Santa Fe Community College students have all stood at the imposing Administrative desk carved by Patrick as they begin navigation of their educational journey. Patrick believed in new beginnings, and devoted his life to helping others begin theirs. We have lost a compassionate giver to this world, as he now joins his mother in a better place.

A mentor to so many struggling in the recovery community and me personally. A bright light of optimism and a whirlwind of energy wrapped up in a cloak of knowledge. Thank you Pat.
