CHRISTINE H. DI PALMA FEBRUARY 8, 1930 - JULY 14, 2018 Long time resident of Santa Fe, Christine passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born of John Leslie Hall and Christine Kerlin Hill, she attended Highland Park School in Dallas, Texas. She earned an Associate Degree from Louisiana State University, then worked for Sun Oil Company. Attracted to travel, she worked as a stewardess for Braniff Airlines from 1952-56; and stewardess and bursar for Pan American Airlines 1957-1961. After moving to Santa Fe, she fell in love with its Opera Company and served as a volunteer there. She also worked as a volunteer for the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Salvatore Di Palma became the love of her life and they were married from 1991-2014, when Sal died. From that point on, she became more and more reclusive, rarely venturing out. She died quietly, while Puccini's "La Boheme" CD was being played. She was predeceased by her beloved Siamese Cats. Porgy and Bess, Ching, Fiorella, Tosca and Mimi. As per her wishes a small private funeral service has already been held.
