FELICIANO LUJAN LUJAN, Feliciano "Felix", 95, was called to the Lord on August 17th. Felix was born on Dec. 19, 1919 in Nambe, NM to Celedon and Nestora Lujan. Felix was a loving husband father, brother and grandfather. Felix lived a long and happy life, he was a hard worker who loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Felix was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He stared his career in law enformement in 1949, starting off as a jailer and worked his way up becoming the Chief of Police serving in that position from 1969 until 1974 when he retired. Felix was preceded in death by his parents Celedon and Nestora Lujan, his wife of 72 years Maria Elvira "Vera" Lujan, mother-in-law and father-in-law Frank and Beatrice Jiron, brothers: Ramos, Gustavo, Nestor and Ben and sisters Olivama and Josie, daughter-in-law: Mary L. Lujan and great-grandson Anthony Lujan-Ortega. He is survived by his three sons, Jerry, Michael (Henrietta) and Marshall Lujan; sister, Matilda Guillen and brother Ernesto (Carolina) Lujan; sister-in-law Celia Lujan, Carmen Lujan, Rosina Gallegos, Mary Louise Jiron and Lorraine (Josh) Abraham, brother-in-law, Juan Jiron; grandchildren Kimberly (Manuel) Garcia, Leslie Lujan, Stacie Lujan, Brian (Felicia) Lujan and Melanie (Anthony) Lujan; great grandchildren: Kyra and Alex Lujan, JJ and Rico Duran, Brandee Cordova, Daryn Lujan and Angelina Ortega. Felix is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Celso Lovato, Margarito Marquez, Paul Gallegos, Brian Lujan, Rico Duran and Manuel Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Ortega and JJ Duran. Visitations will be held on Sunday, August 23rd at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at which time a rosary service will be recited by the S.P.M.D.T.U. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24th at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with graveside honors provided by the Santa Fe City Police Department.
