BEN A. C DE BACA Ben A. C de Baca, 45, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 6th in Rio Rancho, NM. Ben was born April 24th, 1970, in Santa Fe NM and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Santa Fe High School where he was a member of the Junior ROTC program. He is survived by Emilia King; daughter, Cassandra C de Baca; son, Ben C de Baca Jr.; son, Isaac C de Baca; daughter, Jade C de Baca; son, Dominic Ortiz; son Jacob C de Baca; daughter, Andre C de Baca; his mother, Maria Baca; brother- Waldo and wife Cheryl Baca; sister Sandra Baca; brother, Dennis Baca; brother Isaac Baca; brother, Ivan and wife Christina Baca; sister, Melinda Baca; Nephews- Ted Lopez III, Brandon Baca, Kaiden Baca, Stone Armijo, Derek Baca, Diego Baca, Mathew Benavidez, Armando Bustos, Antonio Baca, Santiago Velarde, and Patrick Velarde; Nieces- Lynn and husband AJ Garduno, Desiree Baca, Katherine Wachter, Natalia Baca, Briana Bustos, and Alicia Bustos and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandmother, Andrea Baca and father, Waldo Baca. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Berardinelli Family Funeral Home in Santa Fe on Weds, Sept. 16th, directly followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. Mass will be held on Thurs. Sept. 17th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Santa Fe. Burial will be in the Rosario Cemetery following mass and serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Baca, Isaac Baca, Antonio Baca, Isaac C de Baca, Ben C de Baca Jr. and Ted Lopez III. Honorary pallbearers; Waldo Baca, Brandon Baca, Dominic Ortiz, Jacob C de Baca, Stone Armijo, and Kaiden Baca. Ben's avid past time was cheering for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, but his heart purely belonged to his children and family. Ben's contagious smile that lit up every room when he entered, his crazy loud laugh that could be heard throughout any building, and his selfless way of making everyone around him as happy as he was will be truly missed by everyone.
