We still talk about meeting Bruce many years ago - at a gallery featuring his artwork in Santa Fe. His beautiful painting holds a special place in our home. He is remembered.

I found out about Bruce's passing a year after he was gone. Sometimes when I'm sitting around with the guitar one of his songs will come to mind and I have to play it as a way of remembering and honoring him. I miss our sitting in his kitchen and playing tunes and learning his songs. He is missed.

I am saddened and heart broken to hear of Bruce's passing. I had to check with his daughter and wife to see if this was true. Bruce took the time to play music with me, and for that I will forever be grateful. He always treated me with respect and was honest with me. He left a giant hole that will never be filled. I hope to see you one day my friend, in that circle in the sky.

My heart is broken. Bruce treated me with a kindness and respect that I got from few people. I admired him as an artist, musician and writer. I'll miss him as a friend and a great drinking buddy.

my deepest condolences for lost of husband and father. I met Bruce at IAIA we were both students there. Bruce was a kind and generous person he had offer to loan me his regalia to dance in the pow wow. I remember his first play he wrote and was performed at the IAIA theater. I made it back to Santa Fe 50 years later was trying to find him but was not able to catch up with him I'm sadden to hear of his passing. he will always be in my memories.

He was one of my favorite artists. I have his large piece of a buffalo hunt hanging in my living room in Georgia. I love it.

We are so very sad to have just heard of Bruce's passing. It was about 15 years ago that we met at the gallery in Santa Fe, where I fell in love with an amazing painting. Bruce happened to be there and he so kindly gave us a discount so we could afford to purchase it. It still hangs in a place of honor in our home. And we also got a poster which he personally signed to us, for our wedding. What a kind, generous, truly thoughtful man he was - not to mention his far reaching talents. Our sincere condolences to his family.

I first met Bruce at the Steaksmith Restaurant back in the late '70's when it was in the old De Vargas Hotel. We worked there at the time but I remember having a conversation with him about AIM, his writing, his plays, books, etc. We met again a few weeks ago and caught up at the downtown coffeeshop. Great blessings to you, Bruce, on your next big chapter with your mighty ancestors.
