José Lucio Obituary

JOSÉ LUCIO

José Lucio passed away on April 19, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1986 in Lubbock, TX. He was a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. He loved spend- ing time with his family, especially his two girls. He enjoyed watching basketball and football and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved being in the mountains, where he would spend most of his time fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by father Carlos Lucio, mother Mary Jane Lucio, and grand- parents Santiago and Maria Lucio; and Robert Kitchens Sr. He is survived by his fiancé Desiree Christlieb, daughters Halleah and Dakota Lucio, grandmother Tillie Kitchens, mother-in-law Linda Christlieb, and stepmom Judy Lucio, siblings Eliza Alberico (Victor), Anita Sandoval (Melissa), Beau Christlieb, Patrick Salazar, Tashwanda Trevino (Cisco), and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers: AJ Esquibel, Patrick Salazar, and Justin Hotchkiss
Honorary Pallbearers: Matthew Gonzales and Robert Gonzales
A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on May 1, 2021 at Rivera Kiva Chapel followed by services. Procession to burial will follow immediately to the El Rito Community Cemetery, El Rito, NM 87530.
