I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of babysitting Tom and Kris´ four kids-they lived right across the street from us when we were growing up. That was actually my very first babysitting job. I remember being fascinated by their beautiful display case of rocks and minerals, all carefully labeled. Every once in a while, Mr. Chadwick (Tom) would return from a trip and share his latest discoveries if I happened to be there babysitting. Sometimes he even gave me a mineral sample to take home. I have such warm memories of the entire family. Again, I´m so sorry for your loss.

I knew Tom and Kris through an elite assortment of "gourmet" aficionados in Santa Maria, CA. We had so many laughs and mostly delicious recipes. I still chuckle about the salad recipe with the small green peppers so I hurriedly and ignorantly bought jalapeños, several because they were so small. The entire table was sniffling and gasping before we all realized my mistake.
Tom and Kris produced beautiful children, all of whom, I´ve enjoyed watching them grow up.
My condolences also to Fran, who I didn´t know, but all things said about her were what a wonderful woman she is. I understand the difficulties and heartbreak of being the caregiver to a sick and dying spouse. Fran; you and Tom are now free of his pain and distress.
RIP, Tom. Enjoy the heavenly flora and fauna in paradise.
