Lisa Bodrogi Obituary
1962 - 2025
Lisa Bodrogi, 63, of Santa Maria, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 4th, 2025.
Lisa was a dive master, a story leader and a devout Catholic. She was fierce, loyal and deeply loving. She was a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and California Ag Leadership. She brought perigord truffles to the central coast, and through land use consulting helped build agricultural infrastructure and numerous wineries. She was strong and resilient, meeting life's challenges with determination and grace. Everyone who met her could immediately see the light and beauty radiating from her and she had a wide breadth of friends and community. She loved animals and took delight in time with her pets.
She is survived by her devoted husband Bill Bodrogi and her children Shannon Bodrogi, Garrett Bodrogi, and their spouses. She is also survived by her parents Marie and Richard Stark and her brothers Brent and Brian Stark, and their spouses.
Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Louis deMontfort Church. Interment will follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery, original section.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hats for Hope.

Lisa was a beautiful person inside and out. I originally met her when our girls plated soccer together, then reconnected later in life playing Bonco.
