Fred Balderama Sr, 91, of Santa Maria, CA passed away at his home on December 14, 2021.
Fred was born in Santa Maria, CA on March 4, 1930. He was raised in Los Angeles as a teenager where he then shortly relocated to San Luis Obispo County (Five Cities area). He met the love of his life Edwina and raised his children of six.
Fred's pride and joy was his wife and family. He had the biggest heart, he was loving, caring, kind, and generous. He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather.
Fred is survived by his wife of 73 years, Edwina Balderama, his children Connie Aguirre (Phillip), Fred Balderama Jr. (Teresa) Mary Ann Balderama, Betty Hegerich (Jim) and Emily McNutt, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great granchildren.
Fred was proceeded in death by his mother Maria Sandoval, daughter Esther Balderama, and brother Robert Rodriguez.
He will be greatly missed as he was loved and adored by so many.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Dudley Hoffman Mortuary. Burial service will be at 10:00 am December 28, 2021 in the Santa Maria Cementary.
