I met Karen in 2020, when Covid had us all staying at home. We met online in a game called June's Journey and became fast friends. I loved her spry sense of humor, her strength to overcome her many health problems she endured throughout the years, and her loving and wise nature. I hope she is dancing with the angels now! She is greatly missed.

Karen is my cousin, the daughter of my father's youngest sister Betty. We were closely associated as children and lived near each other for a brief time. I remember a sweet and gentle person with a caring heart. We visited in Santa Barbara a few times over the years, but otherwise communications was rare.
Karen was easy to love but hard to know. I wish we could have been closer, both physically and as family.
