Patsy Yoshihara, 90 years young, was born in Reedley, California, and passed on January 22, 2026 in Santa Maria.
As a child, Patsy experienced a defining moment in history when she was sent to a relocation camp at the age of seven-an experience that shaped her strength, resilience, and compassion throughout her life.
Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, George Yoshihara. She is survived by her three children; two granddaughters; five great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patsy will be remembered for her quiet strength, perseverance, and the love she shared with those around her. Her life reflected endurance, grace, and deep care for family. Her family and friends will always remember her contagious laughter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary, 1003 East Stowell Road, Santa Maria, CA on Saturday, February 21 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association website in Tribute of Patsy Yoshihara.
