September 3, 1938 - March 21, 2026
Arroyo Grande - Lucille "Lucy " Osborn, born in Fresno, California, in 1938, passed away after a life devoted to family, friends, and community. While visiting the Central Coast, she met and later married Jerry Osborn; they shared 46 years of marriage until his passing in 2002.
Lucy enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, traveling, and creating a warm, welcoming home. She volunteered with Insight Unlimited and the Literacy Council of SLO County, tutoring English learners. She was also a co-owner of Fins Restaurant & Pismo State Beach Golf Course and Lubella Clothing.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Gregory (Lin); granddaughters Colleen Stefanek (Ryan) and Leanne Tunmire (Jake); great-grandsons Colton and Jack; nephews Tom Thompson (Amy) and Grant Burton; and niece Whitney Aebersold (Brett).
Graveside service April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Arroyo Grande Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life. All who loved her are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woods Humane Society.
