Lupe Curiel Obituary
December 7, 1966 - February 26, 2023
Lupe Becerra Curiel, age 56, passed away February 26, 2023, after unexpectedly suffering a severe stroke. She was born December 7, 1966, in Santa Maria, California to Jose De Jesus & Margarita Curiel.
Lupe loved to love on people. She was a woman of her family. Her spare time was devoted to being at her mothers house in the evenings after work & on weekends to help care for her brother, Salvador Curiel.
She loved to host family on holidays, Always preparing a delicious feast for everyone to enjoy. When Lupe wasn't at her mothers or at work, she spent her other free time practicing her favorite forms of self care, including weekly pedicures, massages, and lots of shopping.
For over 35 years, Lupe worked at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, & Lighting. It suited her servant heart.
Lupe is survived by her brothers, George, Alonso and David Curiel, Mother, Margarita Curiel, husband Araon Valdez and sons, Michael, Marc and Steven Valdez. She is also survived by her two soon to be grandsons, Maverick & Maxton Valdez. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

My sincerest condolences to George & Anna and the Curiel family. I remember Lupe from school all the way back to Fairlawn with her beautiful hair and bright smile. She must have worked my sister Debra at Ferguson and I had no idea. May love fill your heart in her absence.

My husband and I are saddened to hear of Lupe's passing. We worked with her this past year selecting our appliances and fixtures for our new home. Lupe was incredibly knowledgeable and always helpful. Our condolences to her family and friends.
