Ruth Steele Obituary

Centenarian Reverend Ruth Etta Steele (PhD) went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Reverend Linda Joyce Whiteaker, and siblings.
Her legacy survives with her daughter Charity Shiffer, her brother Dr. Sim Wilson Junior, and her abundant grand and great grandchildren.
Ruth spent her life obedient to the voice of God and traveling to every continent sharing the Gospel.
Awarded California's 'Who's Who' for Business, she was the broker/owner of Linetta Realty, local furniture and cafe owner, chaplain for correctional, national, city and local associations, vice principal of the Accelerated Christian School, pastor of Wailuku Church of God, founder/pastor emeritus of Christian Family Calvary Temple, author, and servant of the Most High.
She professed that God is good and Jesus is Lord. She won countless souls for the Kingdom and she will be joyfully received in Heaven by many, but grievously missed here on Earth. She truly fought the good fight and finished the race. (1 Timothy 6:12)
