William Curde Obituary

William R "Randy" Curde

1954 - 2021

William R "Randy " Curde passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his home in Orcutt, CA. He was born September 4, 1954 in Sanger California to Ted W Curde and Violet M Gruenwald. He attended Sanger High School and graduated from California State University, Fresno.

He is survived by his wife Carol Sue Belmore of Orcutt, and her children, Stephanie Schwartz (husband Eddie), Terry Belmore (wife Carol), grandchildren Taylor Collins (husband Boo & newborn Finnigan) and Landon Belmore. Stephanie Schwartz (husband Eddie), his mother, Violet Powers of Stevensville Montana, his brother Mike Curde (wife Patti), nephew Nathan Curde (wife Sarah Fae), and daughter Morgan, and niece Alison Curde; his sister Anne Anderson, his nieces, Erin Falagan (husband Scott) children Kate and Sam Falagan and niece Meredith Ryness (husband Bryce) children Mercy, Judah, Cora and Trixy of course.

Also surviving is his Uncle Frank Curde of Elizabethton Tennessee. His father Ted W Curde passed away in 2007.

Randy was committed to his work with PictSweet Farms and after 35 years many of his growers were his friends. He loved fly fishing for trout, but often confessed that Carol was the true expert. Randy and Mike completed many building projects for the house - the best part being the family bbq they hosted when the work was done.

The thing we'll miss most is Randy's ability to see the humor in EVERYTHING - his down-to-earth Tennessee sense of humor never failed.

A memorial service is planned for Spring in Idaho where he loved to fish. Remembrances can be sent to St Judes Hospital for Children or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
