He graduated from St. Peter's Catholic School in Saratoga Springs and served as class president. Following his discharge, he met and married the love of his life, Jane R. Dewey, on Feb. 12, 1956 in Corinth and the couple resided on Saratoga Avenue for many years. She passed away August 22, 2016 following 60 years of marriage. Around the time of their marriage, Bill started his 40 year career at International Paper Co., ending as a scheduler for the supercalender and finishing areas. He loved travelling, especially to Florida and Maine, making yearly trips to both. Bill also loved the NY Yankees, horse racing, going on day trips, but above all, spending time with his family. Besides his wife and his parents, he was also predeceased by one sister, Kitty Walsh; and his in-laws, Don and Lib Dewey. Survivors include three children, Mike Walsh (Lisa), Cathy Lozier (Danny) and Bill Walsh Jr. (Lisa); his four beloved grandchildren, Justin Lozier (Erin), Ryan Walsh (Jenny), and Aaron and Brett Walsh; one great-granddaughter, Teagan Lozier; his brother-in-law, Howard Dewey and sister-in-law, Betty Ann Dewey; a special cousin, Mary Williams; and a special neighbor, Shirley Harrington.
