I don’t believe you are ever prepared for the loss of a loved one. This is true even if they have lived a full life. The thought of them being there if you needed them and now knowing that it’s no longer true can bring many levels of emotions. Grandma was certainly the glue that held this family together and the reason to bring us together. The grieving process is necessary to bring joy to the many memories we share and to hold onto those to keep Grandma‘s memory alive. I often took for granted her many prayers for myself and my family I now wonder who will pray for us now? Grandma was a wise, intelligent, loving and classy woman that I hope to one day emulate. Rest in paradise Grandma, I know your watching over us as Mia has reminded me the last few weeks. Whenever a light flickers or a strange noise is heard Mia often reminds me that great grandpa and uncle Lane and now you are watching over us, she calls you her guardian angels. We love you always grandma & great grandma! Love: Melissa, Bob, Trev, Kai & Mia

I am so blessed to have known Doris and be a part of this wonderful family. She accepted me as one of her own when Lane and I got together. I will treasure the times of being with her and being at all the gatherings with family. I know she is in a much better place with Butch and Lane and everyone else that has preceded her passing. She surely will be missed. Love you all!!

Grandma will be forever missed and loved. I know she’s happier now with her husband and family in heaven. She lived a good life, and her legacy lives on through her many children and large family. I only wish that all of you reading this could be together now to mourn, remember, and enjoy each other’s company in grandma’s name. God bless.
