My favorite barber - so sad to hear this. John began cutting my hair when I was in elementary school and continued until I left the area in the late 80s. A very kind, friendly man. He will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Accept my warm and heartfelt sympathy for your loss.
John was a joy to be around the few times I had the pleasure of meeting him. Young at heart and easy to be around he made me feel like one of the family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times.

My deepest sympathy to the family, may he rest in eternal peace. I only met John a few times, he knew no strangers and made you feel like family. God bless you, you are in my prayers.

I am his nephew, and Tami (spouse) and I are very sorry to hear he has passed away. I have many memories I will cherish, such as the fish fry's he use to have, the deer sausage we use to eat in his basement with other family members and the family reunions where him, his brother Bob and my mom, his sister, use to argue with each other, all while having fun doing that. My cousins and I always had fun with them. They are all gone now, including my mom, who recently passed away and they all lived a long full life. I miss all of them dearly. We all miss them. It's almost surreal. They are now all reunited and in a better place. One day we will all see them again. They will always be by our side watching over us. RIP.
