Ms. Carol Louise Driggers Grene age 72, died on Friday August 10, 2018. Our beloved mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend lost her valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Statesboro, GA on May 22, 1946, and lived most of her life in Savannah. After graduating from Savannah High School, she attended Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing on a scholastic scholarship. She graduated in 1967 and obtained her Registered Nurse licensure and worked in the nursing and managed care field for 50 years. She was also a certified Deputy Coroner for Chatham County. She was preceded in death by her parents, William L. and Addie Jean Sanders Driggers.

Surviving are her three children; Natasha Grene (Wes) Asselin, Lauren Grene (Wayne) Williams and Joshua Sanders Grene (Hailey Blakley); She was Nana to four grandchildren, Sara and Jacob Williams, Alex Asselin and Sanders Patrick Grene; her brother David L. Driggers and two nieces Addie and Mimi Driggers; also surviving is a very special aunt, Judge Faye Sanders Martin (retired), who was her mentor and constant guiding light throughout her life; she is also survived by aunts, special cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on a later date.
