Dimonique Robinson Obituary

Dimonique Jamal Robinson was born February 5th, 1989 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was the youngest child of Rev. Linus and Rev., Dr. Cheryl Robinson of Hinesville, Georgia. Dimonique departed this life on the 5th of May, 2018 after a brief bout with cancer. Dimonique matriculated through the Maryland and Georgia public school systems. He graduated from Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Georgia in May of 2007. In 2016, he was awarded a certificate in culinary arts from the Moses Jackson Advancement Center in Savannah, Georgia. He was employed by the Rapides Parish School System as a culinary technician. A true lover of life, Dimonique not only kept a smile on his face, he went out of his way to help others. A big hug, a silly joke, and his flashy smile were sure to greet you and cheer you, even in the toughest of times. Dimonique believed that lost dreams can be reawakened and that life's possibilities are endless. He loved to cook. He loved to eat. And, he loved to dance!

Dimonique was preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, maternal grandfather and grandmother, and one aunt. He leaves many behind who loved him. These include his parents, Cheryl and Rob, his sister, Rosemary (Ricardo), nephew, Donovan, his paternal grandmother, Mary Grace, eight aunts, seven uncles, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services: 11:00am, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Bethel AME Church, 233 Gause Street, Hinesville, GA, 31313. Rev. Stephen Lee will be the eulogist. Interment: New Home Cemetery.
