61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 15, 2013. Born on January 1, 1952 in Caxias do Sul, Brasil, he was the eldest of 3 siblings to Dorina and Frank Fanchin.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Marsha; five children, Daniel, Amanda, Sandra, and Cody Fanchin, and Kortnie Meyer; three grandchildren, Anthony, Alexandra, and Gavin; father Frank Fanchin; sister Vera Sciortino; and brother Frank James Fanchin.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorina Fanchin; and daughter, Amber Fanchin.
