Teresa Villacres Estrella
Passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 11, 2012. She was born in Latacunga, Ecuador on October 15, 1929, and moved to Long Beach, California in 1959 with her husband and their three young children, two more children were born in Long Beach. Teresa was preceded in death, in 1989, by her husband, Alfonso Villacrés. She is survived by her five loving children, Marcelo, Fernando, Martha, Elena (Randy) and Susana (Bob); and grandchildren, Jack and Sophia. She had a long life full of travels and was beloved by all who knew her. Private services will be held at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Miller Children's Hospital Child Life Department, Attn: Rita Goshert, at 2801 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90806. Please indicate on the check memo, "In memory of Teresa Villacrés." Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obituaries.
