Clinton L. Cogbill Obituary
Clinton L Cogbill
July 13, 1935 to February 12, 2018
Clint Cogbill, longtime Redlands resident, passed away peacefully on February 12 in Yucaipa. A native of Joplin, MO, Clint settled in Redlands with his wife Peggy in 1956. After serving in the US Air Force, he graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and worked as a stockbroker and financial consultant until his retirement. Clint and Peg raised two sons, Barry and Justin, and were graced with 5 grandkids (Jacob, Clinton, Lianna, Adam and Jessica), 3 great grandchildren and loving daughter-in-law, Kristi.
Over the years, Clint helped many families achieve financial security. He truly cared about his clients and would often be the first person a client would call in time of need.
Clint enjoyed flying his airplane, riding in his tractor, and driving sporty cars. He and Peg traveled abroad and also toured the US in a motorhome. An avid pool player, he also liked racketball, golf, and long morning walks with Peg.
Always an entrepreneur, Clint cultivated oranges and avocados, and developed land and homes in the foothills above Redlands.
Clint will be remembered as a man who came from humble beginnings, worked tirelessly, and shared his talent and success with so many people. He will be dearly missed.
Memorial services will be held at Mission Gables near the Redlands Bowl on Saturday, March 31 at 1 pm.
