Ernie Paramo Sr.
On February 25, 2018, Ernie Paramo Sr. was called to be with our Lord surrounded by his family after 80 wonderful yrs. He grew up in East Highland and graduated from Redlands HS in 1956. He enjoyed playing many sports but baseball was his passion; even playing for AAA Seattle Rainier's in 1956. He was an excellent employee, coach and mentor of the areas youth for 25 yrs. He worked for the city of San Bernardino for
20 yrs. before retiring from CSUSB after 18 yrs. as the Physical Plant Automotive Supervisor. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Adelaide Catholic Church.
Ernie is survived by the love of his life of 60 yrs., Theresa Paramo; He is also survived by his 5 children: son Ernest and (Andrea) Paramo of Highland, daughter Jeannette and (Dr. John) Steinmann of Redlands, son Patrick and (Corina) Paramo of Highland, daughter Renee Paramo of Highland, son Steven and (Evette) Paramo of Highland. He will be greatly missed by his 20 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grand- children and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Survived by 3 brothers; Sam, Mandy and Jack Paramo and by 2 sisters, Rose Mainez and Emily Guitron. Preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Tony and David Paramo.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 5:30-6:30 pm followed by the Rosary at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 Base Line St. Highland, CA 92346. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11 am at St. Adelaide Catholic Church with interment immediately following at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 3520 E.
