Mabel R. Biddinger
Mabel was born in Springfield, Missouri and was a resident of San Bernardino for 85 years. She passed away on January 10, 2018 at the age of 99 at her home in San Bernardino. Our mother met, fell in love and married her husband Gene in 1937. Together, in 1946 they literally built their home where they raised a family, she held the boards and he hammered the nails. She wore a beautiful smile and enjoyed people. She took great pleasure in sewing, and was an excellent and creative seamstress. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior, the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce, a 2006 Graduate of the Chamber's Leadership Class, a member of the High Twelve Masonic Club, and a member of the Women's Club of San Bernardino. She is survived by two children, Judi Penman (Jim) of San Bernardino and John Biddinger (Sheila) of Henderson, NV; 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Church Service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 5050 N. Sierra Way, San Bernardino with a following committal service at Mt. View Cemetery.
