Marian Lucille Pure Obituary
MARIAN LUCILLE PURE Marian Lucille (Bown) Pure, 91, of Rialto, CA passed away on October 5, 2018 in Colton, CA. She was born May 12, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA, where she graduated from John Marshall High School and UCLA. Marian was a School Teacher for 24 years in the Colton Joint Unified School District. She served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and long-time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church; was a Life Member of the PTA; and a member of the California Retired Teachers Association. She enriched the lives of family and friends, hundreds of school children, and welcomed new neighbors with plates of cookies. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Pure, her two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her 3 children Melinda A. Pure of Colton, Sharon L. (Pure) Ricker of San Bernardino, and Douglas W. Pure of Stansbury Park, Utah; 2 grandchildren Kellen S. Ricker of Jurupa Valley, and Kandice S. (Ricker) Morache of Huntington Beach; and 1 great-grandson Kellen S. Ricker II of Jurupa Valley, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be on Nov. 12, from 4pm-8pm at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave Bloomington, CA. Funeral Service will be on Nov. 13 at 9:30am at Bethany Presbyterian Church 1773 N. Riverside Ave Rialto, CA with a reception afterward. Graveside Service to follow at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park 1712 S. Glendale Ave Glendale, CA 91205. Those who wish to make a memorial donation may do so to Bethany Presbyterian Church or to the .
