Marilyn Ruth Swetkovich
August 29, 1937 - January 8, 2018
Marilyn Ruth Swetkovich, 80, of Highland, California; fell into an eternal slumber on January 8, 2018. Marilyn was born in Junction City Kansas to Floyd and Venetta Rice. Marilyn came to California where she eventually met her husband Marvin Swetkovich. Marilyn had a passion for Genealogy. She spent many days in the library researching her family roots. Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband Marvin, loving children Kathy Patrick, Debbie Vandiver, David Davis of Highland, Scott Swetkovich of Colorado, David Parada of Poway, and Kelly Cully of Valley Center. Marilyn is preceded in death by her son Doug Davis. A visitation will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on January 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. view Cemetery.

We are sorry for your loss. Marilyn was a good friend to my mom and spent many hours visiting with her. She always watched over the house when mom was out of town. They were neighbors and friends for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
