Joseph Kristopaitis, 41, of Mahanoy City, passed away Dec. 29, suddenly at his residence.

Joseph was born in New Boston, July 17, 1977, a son of Irene Kristopaitis and Eugene Kufrovich.

He was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Class of 1995.

He had been employed by the Mahanoy Township Water Authority and Mountain Valley Golf Course. Joe was a member of Humane Fire Company No. 1, Mahanoy City. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, shooting sports, NASCAR and was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Joe is survived by his fiancée, Nicole Killian; siblings, sister, Jennifer and fiance, Larry Scheib, and brother, Eugene Kufrovich; daughters, Deeann, Kayla, Bree and Tamara Kristopaitis; aunts; uncles; cousins.
