Josephine B. Laudeman, 90, of Minersville, died Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha Kowalsky Rutecki.

She attended Minersville schools, and worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry, including Jackson Sportswear.

She was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville. She was also a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union; and was a past president of the New Minersville Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 63 years, William C. Laudeman Sr., on Oct. 20, 2011; three brothers, Walter Rutecki, Stanley Rutecki and Joseph Rutecki; four sisters, Dorothy Rutecki, Pearl Radziewicz, Helen Roshannon and Bertha Gilbert.

She is survived by three children, William C. Laudeman Jr. (spouse, Molly), Minersville, Lois Laudeman, Minersville, and Robert Laudeman (spouse, Irene), Minersville; five grandchildren, Michelle Rose, Lori Sulouff, Patrice Schwalm, Robbie Laudeman and William "Billy" Laudeman; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including John Laudeman, Minersville.

Relatives and friends may call from 6 p.m. Monday and from 6 until 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury St., Minersville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, 139 Spruce St., Minersville. Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The family prefers remembrances to St. Matthew Church. Visit
